Sibling Rivalry

We went to Good-Guys in Joliet this weekend for Taylor's first car show. Taylor and I were in the same class (YoungGuys) competing against each other. But in the end we both got beat, probably a good thing because I wouldn't have taken to losing to her too well. We had a good time - of course Dad, Dustin, Josh & Kevin Brucker all had a little too much Saturday night, but that's to be expected.

After the show on Saturday you had the option of going around Chicago Land Speedway, the NASCAR Track. Dustin & Josh got to drive and it was a lot of fun. Then we raced a little more on the way home.

Visit From Ashlyn

Last Saturday Mom got to watch Ashlyn for a couple of hours while Milissa got ready for Brooke Welborn's baby shower. I can't believe how big she is getting, she's even getting some rolls!

Uncle Dustin & Aunt Tess!

Dustin & I found out on August 26th that Beau & Jodi are expecting a baby towards the end of April next year. We can't wait to have a little niece or nephew!!! (practice?!?!)

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day weekend was 5 years for Dustin and I... seems like my whole life! We spent a lot of time out at the farm Friday and Saturday. Then Sunday we played golf all day with the Kafer's and Chad & Rae. Then it was off to Towanda for Ryan Welborn's birthday party (and to see baby girl :) Monday we went down to Clinton for one of the last boating days of the year and even RJ went. I think he was a little wore out.

Lake Shelbyville

We went to Lake Shelbyville over the weekend August 8th - 10th for Sue's parents 50th Anniversary. We had a good time and even got some time in boating.
