Update

Yeah I know I haven't been very good about updating lately. I need to get some new pictures of the peanut but my camera is dead and I haven't found the box that the charger is packed in. Mom and Taylor have a few on theirs, I'll have to get them from them. We are starting to adjust to living at Mom and Dad's. It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. It's nice to have dinner cooked every night and help with Asher. Boo is loving be at Grandma and Grandpa's and refuses to sleep with his Mommy and Daddy anymore. I think he knows that gma and gpa will get up with him in the middle of the night for a treat. He's gonna be huge by the time they move out ;)

By the time I get home from work and we eat, Asher gets his bath, we play, do laundry and wash bottles its time to go to bed. Days are going really fast lately. Dad has been busy at Grandma Glo's, we're still in the tear down stage but making progress. I think the back porch is coming off today so I'll have to check that out tonight. We tried to play golf Saturday but the weather wouldn't cooperate so we went back to Grandma Janes and played ship-captain-crew and euchre then ate dinner. Asher went to his first football game with Aunt Heidi on Saturday too. Sunday Annie watched little man so I could help at Glo's. I must be REALLY out of shape because I didn't do too much and still could hardly walk yesterday. I'll try to get some pictures up tonight or tomorrow. You wouldn't believe how big he's getting and how much his personality is developing. He woke Mom and Dad up this morning because he was out in the living room watching Club House Mickey squealing at the TV.

Glo's House

Mom and Dad have started to tear into Grandma Glo's house. There are going to be some major changes but I think its going to look awesome when they get done. Here are a few before pictures.
Here is looking from the dining room into the kitchen. This whole wall including the closet will be gone.
This is the kitchen before. The wall behind the fridge will be pushed back another 4 feet. Last night they had the kitchen completely gutted already.
Just having the panelling off of the wall with the windows and the beams down from the ceiling has made a huge difference.
Taylor posing with the walker in her new room. Note the pretty orange carpet.
Where the whirlpool used to be - the stairs will be going down through this hole now.

Pictures

Look at those rolls! Chunker is starting to enjoy his bath a little more. He gets his bath in the big tub now.

This was taken at Matt & Rachel's after Kane's baptism last Sunday. We have 3 cousins within 1 year. Ashlyn is giving Asher a kiss and Kane is pulling Ashlyn's hair. I can't wait to see what they are like a year or two. I have a feeling miss Ashlyn will be the boss!
Mom took this picture Wednesday while I was at work. Asher and Boo were hanging out in their bed watching Clubhouse Mickey. I have a feeling Asher and Boo will be best friends.

We are all moved in and somewhat functioning. There are still random things we can't find, like Dustin's beard trimmer. I guess he'll just have to go for the ZZ Top look unless he can find the box that we put it in. Asher is in our room and still sleeping pretty good. He is one spoiled baby living with Grandma & Grandpa - Uncle RJ is pretty good with him too. We have a full house this weekend because Taylor is home and Josh is with her. I'll try to keep this updated a little more. We just got through due date at work and the next week will be really busy too as we keep entering payments in the system.

The Big Move

Well we had our first night at Mom and Dad's last night... or would you call it our house.... hmmm that will take a while to get used to. We worked until about 10:30 last night and only got enough accomplished to have a bed to sleep in and one outfit to wear the next day. The house in Forrest is completely empty we just have to go back and clean.

Its going to be hard going from a house (even a small one) to a bedroom. If you would have told me a few years ago that I would be moving back home, into my old room, with my husband and baby I would have never believed you. But it will be fine. It was hard getting ready this morning because Asher's crib is in our room. So I can't really turn on the light and get ready in our room, or upstairs because mom and dad are still sleeping. On top of all that I have to share a bathroom with 3 men. RJ and I already had to have the toilet seat discussion this morning. The new carpet is in downstairs and I think Dustin really likes "his" room. I'll post pictures when we get a little more settled in.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Today is the day when I officially start freaking out. We close on our house a week from today and Tuesday will be the first night that we will be staying with Mom and Dad. There is a lot of working being done at Mom and Dads which Mom is not thrilled about. Josh has been there the past couple of days putting up light fixtures and can lights. The heating guys are running gas lines and putting a heater in the garage. I've been trying to pack a little at a time but now we're down to the stuff that is hard to pack. Grandma Jane and Annie are there today trying to pack up my kitchen. I guess that gives me an excuse to not have to cook. This weekend is a busy one too so we wont be able to do much moving. We have Justin Haas' wedding Saturday then Kane's baptism and the Kafer golf outing on Sunday. The carpet is being laid in the basement at Mom and Dad's on Tuesday so we can move all our stuff in that night. I'll be glad when this is all over, but its going to be hard living out of a bedroom for the next few months.

Play Date

On Saturday Bob and Kristi brought Ashlyn out to the farm. They watched her this weekend while Ryan and Milissa went boating at Lake Shelbyville.

Another hug from Ashlyn
Awwww and a kiss too

Splish Splash

Friday night we took Asher "swimming" for the first time in the whirlpool at Grandma Glo's. By next week the huge tub will be gone and there will be stairs going down through the hole. It was exciting for me and Taylor to have Dad fill it up and get in because we found out Grandma lied about it being broken.
He only lasted about 10 minutes before the warm water put him to sleep.
I must say my little man is getting quite chunky!
OK so we were inside but we had to get the full effect. I wanted him to wear his trunks at least once before they were too small.

The Battle Rages On...

I've been having this internal battle for the last 2 weeks on whether or not to quit breastfeeding. Every time I think I've made up my mind to quit I'll feel guilty and keep going. Or like this morning when I got up and was actually full I felt like I had to keep going and not waste it. I've struggled since he was about 6 weeks old to produce enough and we've been supplementing with formula since then. I've been back at work for 2 weeks and its been even harder. I pump 3 times at work and once at home at night and over the course of the whole day (pumping 2+ hrs total) I get a whooping 8 ounces. He needs at least 20 ounces while I'm gone during the day. Its hard to keep going knowing that I can barely fill 2 4oz bottles a day but on the other hand I feel like I shouldn't give up yet. Everything you hear/read says that everyone should be able to do it and produce enough as long as you stick with it. I think they're lying. So anyway as of last night I was quitting... as of this morning I'm going to keep going.
