The Faux-Hawk is back!!!

I couldn't stand it anymore and gave Asher his first haircut tonight! I'm so happy to see the stringy old man comb over gone. This isn't the best picture but I couldn't get him to quit jumping long enough to get a picture. Now that I've cut it I'm wondering why I waited so long!

BooBoo's Snuggie

We were at Bed Bath and Beyond last weekend and Grandma Jane couldn't resist picking up Boo his own snuggie. We would have posted pictures sooner but the first time I tried to put it on him he bit me. Boo hates the sound of velcro so he wasn't very happy when I put it on him.

Papa's Birthday

Last night we had people over for my Dad's birthday.

Asher is full of smiles these days and he has found his voice. He jabbers to himself and whoever will listen all the time now.

Asher woke up at 4:17 this morning..... and its now 10:30 and he's only had 2 - 15 minute naps so Mommy is very tired. I told him this morning that it was Saturday but he didn't seem to care.

Pumpkin Killing

After all those belly pictures we finally got our first baby picture together.

We went to Ellsworth tonight for Grandpa George's birthday and the annual pumpkin killing. We got Asher and Charlee together for a much needed photo session. Charlee will be 6 months on the 22nd and Asher is 4 1/2 months. They are six weeks apart but are about the same size. It will get interesting when they are both mobile, tonight they just kind of looked at each other.

Dr Austman said Asher could have some prunes to help him poop. Taylor fed him some for breakfast and I got this text at work:
"You should see the shit your son just took. The prunes are working wonders, it was a 5 wiper."

A rare picture with Mommy!

I remember a picture of Ashlyn in her robe and slippers sitting in her bumbo seat and its one of my favorites. I decided to see if his fit tonight. He looked so cute but kept trying to chew on his hands.

4 Month Check Up

Asher went to see Dr Austman this afternoon for his check up and shots. We discussed his pooping issues some more and she said he was doing great. Here are his 4 month stats:

Height: 25.5 inches (75%)
Weight: 15 lb 8 oz (50-75%)
Head: (50%)

Cereal Update

Hallelujah! The cereal worked! Asher ate his cereal before bed Saturday night and slept in until 7:00 and he had it last night and work up at 6:15. I woke up Sunday morning and could see light outside the window and was amazed :) He has also napped better during the day the last 2 days so hopefully we're getting this all worked out. When he ate Sunday morning he was already doing much better with the spoon. I wasn't quite ready for him to be big enough to eat off of a spoon but for obviously he wasn't full enough to last him through the night. I'm just happy to be able to sleep in until 5:30.

Cereal!

Asher had his first serving of cereal this morning! He hasn't slept through the night for the last 2 weeks. He's been up between 3:30 and 4:30 every morning and he's wearing me out. I'm hoping this might help. I don't think he knew what to think of it. I don't know how much he actually ate because most of it ended up on his face.

4 Months

Sorry, no pictures. I still can't find my camera charger. Little man is already 4 months old! I can't believe how fast the time is going. Today he is going to the Homecoming Parade with Grandma Sue. His stuffy nose has continued to get him up in the middle of the night for the last week. This morning it wasn't until 4:15, I can handle that. He sounds like a little piggy snorting over in his crib, its pathetic. He is getting so big! The shirt he's wearing today is 6-9 months. Right now his favorite things to do are

1. sitting in his bouncey seat watching Club House Mickey or Handy Manny. He sits there and squeals at the TV.
2. He now likes his bath too.
3. He LAUGHS when you blow on his belly when you change his diaper, have to get this on video!
4. His Uncle RJ, don't ask my why but that child LOVES him.
5. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
6. Apple juice. He gets a little bit of diluted apple juice to help him poopie and loves it.
7. Being at the babysitters. Yes, this makes me happy that he likes to watch the other kids. And they love him, the little girls are waiting to open the door for me when I drop him off.

We have our 4 month appt (and shots) on Monday so I'll let you know how big my little man is.
