Planting Season?

This would be Mom and Dad's front yard.

And this would be the back.

Are you thinking the same thing I was thinking?  WTH?  Or maybe that they were going to be planting beans in the front and corn in the back?  Well I guess not but it sure looks like it at this point.  I guess the yard wasn't "level" enough so the landscaper did away with all of the grass and started over.  Looks like a big mess to me.

When I got there after work last night Chris and his dad were pouring one of the patios out back.
