The Big Announcement

Well if you saw my picture post yesterday you might have gathered that we are expecting our 2nd lil peanut!  I haven't had much to say the last few weeks because I've been keeping quiet about this lil one until I've had a chance to get an ultrasound.  Well I had my first ultrasound Monday and everything looks good!  Dr. Austman put my due date at May 24th but when I went to the hospital yesterday she said I was measuring about 10 days ahead.  Peanut's heart was chugging along at 169 bpm. 

This pregnancy is already much different than Asher.  With Asher I was tired but never sick.  The last couple of weeks have been miserable and its even harder because I have Asher to take care of and can't lay down when I need to.  This weekend as I was "getting sick" Asher was hovering over the toilet with me saying "Ewwwww Mommy.  Don't do dat.  Dats a bad, bad boy Mommy.  NO NO NO!"  I was trying not to laugh and puke at the same time.  All I wanna do is curl up in bed and watch the entire Thornbirds movie.  All 8 hours of it.

Asher has been funny.  If you ask him where the baby is he'll point to my belly and has carried around a doll a lot in the past couple of weeks.  I'd venture to say he's pretty much potty trained and has been such a good boy about going potty!  He is currently obsessing over Thomas the Train so my livingroom is covered in train tracks.
