I should have known when Asher slept in so late on Saturday that he wasn't feeling well. He seemed fine on Saturday just a little tired. Sunday morning he was really cranky so I laid him down for a nap. When he got up he felt really warm so I took his temp and it was 102.5. Hmmmm where did this come from. I gave him some Tylenol throughout the rest of the day. He played fine and seemed ok and I knew Dr. Austman would be in the office the next day. He woke up about 12:30 Sunday night burning up with a 104.3 temp so I got him in the tub and tried to get him cooled down. We went to the Dr on Monday and she said it looked like strep even though the test came back negative. So we went and got medicine and hung out for the day.

Tuesday morning I was all dressed for work and Mom was on her way over to take care of Asher when he woke up. Mom got there and tried to get him out of bed and change his diaper and he wouldn't let her near him. It had been another rough night - we were up from 2-4 AM so he had to be so tired and his fever stayed with him the night before. Since I knew there was no leaving him with Grandma for the day I went out and called my boss and told her I wouldn't be in again that day. Good thing she's so understanding! So Asher and I spent another day at home. Mom, Dad and Taylor came to see us at lunchtime - which was nice because I needed a break from the Weebles. Asher didn't feel good and he alternated between crying and pointing his finger at me and yelling "no, no, no!" Worst thing was that I could do NOTHING to make him happy.
