Pork Chops and Beer

Not to be confused with Porkchop in a can which is one of Dustin's favorite dinners.  I'm usually half way through making something before I stop to think that may I should post this so I'll give you the run down on what I did before the pictures started.

This is one of my go-to recipes that is really yummy and easy to make.  I like to use tenderized pork chops (I buy these at the meat counter at County Market).  I give them a good sprinkle of seasoned pepper on both sides then coat them in flour with a generous dash of cayenne pepper mixed in.
I throw them in some hot olive oil and cook both sides until they're brown and mostly done.
Then crack open a beer and add it to your pork chops.  We like Busch-Lighte`.
Then I chop up onions, peppers and mushrooms.
Throw those on top and if you need more liquid pop open another beer.  Poor some in and if you're not preggo drink the rest.  (the orginal recipe called for 8oz beer and 8oz chicken stock)
Cover and simmer on low for 40-45 minutes.
Yummy.
