6 Month Stats

Asher went to the Doctor last night for his 6 month check up and shots. It seems that the shots are getting harder as he gets older, I think this was the longest and loudest he has cried yet :(

Santa!

Last night we went down to Owen's to get our Christmas trees and Santa was there for Asher to get his picture take with. We were a little disappointed with the selection, but we usually arent this late getting a tree. Our white-flocked tree will have to sit outside until we get our carpet in tomorrow. Hopefully we can find our Christmas decorations somewhere in the storage units. Mom and Dad got a 12 foot white-flocked tree that is GORGEOUS! I'll post pics when we get it decorated. Dad loaded their tree, ours and the Kafer's on the rollback then we went to TGI Fridays for dinner. Our house is a bit of a disaster right now. Dustin, Stevie Weber and RJ moved all the furniture yesterday and ripped all the carpet out. Bob is there today painting. Dustin and I both have Wednesday and Thrusday off so I want to get as much done as we can.

I Can't Put My Arms Down!

We got to laughing this morning when we were stuffing Asher into his "snowsuit" he looked like Randy from A Christmas Story. The hard part was getting him in the carseat, I could barely buckle the belts!

Our "New" House

Well after 3 months of living with Mom and Dad they are moving out this weekend! I'm not sure yet if I'm happy or not. I would be happy to have them keep living with us except for Bondo. Sorry buddy, but you have to go. They have moved most of their furniture out already and the house seems a little empty now. Good thing I have 2 storage units full to fill it back up! My Uncle Bob is going to be painting on Monday and then doing a tile backsplash in the kitchen. The new carpet will be put in upstairs on Tuesday. I took Wednesday off to hopefully start unpacking all our crap from storage. Things seem to be moving really fast now! We now have enough room for visitors so they won't have to sleep on the couch and thank God Dustin and I don't have to share a bathroom anymore. Too bad I don't get to keep the cleaning lady.

I think we're really gonna like living back in Fairbury and Mom and Dad will only be a block away. I'll post pictures when we start to get some stuff done. Not like most of you haven't seen the house already :)

6 Months!

I can't believe Asher is 6 months already! He goes to the Dr next Monday so I'll post how big he is next week. Asher continues to be a very happy baby, most of the time. Over the past couple of weeks he has changed so much. Some of his favorite things.

Screeching. Loudly.
Food. So far he has LOVED every baby food that he has tried.
His jump-a-roo.
Sitting up and playing.
Watching BooBoo.
Uncle RJ & Grandma Jane.
Pulling hair.

Asher is spending his big day at home with G-MaMa and the old ladies. Mom and Dad will be moved out this weekend so they are trying to finish up packing. Busy day for a little man!

Big Boy!

My Little peanut made a couple of accomplishments this weekend! On Thanksgiving Day he rolled over!!! This has been much anticipated and quite a relief for the Grandma's (as if you could doubt him!) Then Sunday he began sitting up by himself it seemed like overnight. Maybe he was paying attention to Charlee the past couple of days and thought that looked like fun. Hopefully I'll be able to catch him rolling over on video soon.

What a disaster! Someone should have been recording all of us trying to get them to look the same way and smile!

Thank you Milissa for the messy biter biscuts!

Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals

This weekend we took our cars to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals up in Rosemont. I have to admit we were a little out of our league up there but it was a fun experience. Our cars both scored really good. I got a 990/1000 and Taylor scored 978/1000. I got marked down for a couple of things that were wrong with my car, but then I also got marked down because there was a leaf buried down in my spare tire and some dust under the drivers seat! The judge spent a good 15-20 minutes combing my car over with his little flashlight. Neither of us won the award for women or people under 25 but thats OK.

I'm glad the guys got most of their drinking out of their systems on Friday night before we got there. When Taylor, Josh and I arrived on Saturday morning kevin Kafer and Kevin Brucker were both still in bed. Sunday we didn't see anything of Kevin Kafer until about 1:00...

Popejoy Thanksgiving

While we were gone this weekend Asher was very busy! Saturday night he went to watch Katelynn's game. Mom said that he LOVED to watch the cheerleaders. Then they went out for pizza with Heidi and Kate. On Sunday Ray and Sue picked him up to take him to the Popejoy Thanksgiving since we were out of town.
