Asher's First Christmas!

My little man had a great first Christmas! He even got his first tooth on Christmas day, followed by a second one 2 days later! Here are a few more pictures from the weekend.

Christmas With Deb

On Christmas Day we had Dustin's Mom and her husband Steve and Beau, Jodi and Charlee over. Asher and Charlee are so much fun when they are together. They are starting to notice eachother and interact. So cute.

Righter Christmas

On Christmas Day we had the Righter side at Mom and Dad's. It was fun to have the kids together but I didn't have a chance to get a picture of all three :(

Bad Boy

Asher has been giving me lots of trouble lately when its time to eat. On Christmas everyone thought it was so funny that he was spitting his food back at me. Now that he thinks he can get a good laugh he does it all the time.

Gift Tags

I'm so proud of myself this year for getting creative with my gift tags. I think they turned out so cute!

I have the Cutest Kid Ever!

Asher had his first Christmas yesterday with Grandpa Ray and Grandma Sue. Asher and Charlee are two spoiled babies! I think they had a good first Christmas. All Asher wanted was a bow and that kept him occupied.

I love this one from his photo shoot with Auntie Taylor

Saki!

Took me a while to get this post on here, I was having a hard to posting videos. Anyway, last Saturday night was the Popejoy Plumbing Christmas Party. Another wild night as usual! We took a bus (complete with barf bags) to Bloomington and had dinner at the Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, which was really cool. The guys that were cooking liked to have fun and were squirting saki into everyone's mouth. After dinner several people had saki-bombs which is like a jager-bomb but with saki. I stuck to Coors Light. After that we went to the Funny Bone and it was a really good show. I was ready to go home when we got back to town around midnight. Dustin wasn't so ready and finally made it home a little after 3.

So cute!

I tried to take a couple of videos off all the crazies with us but my camera ran out of memory. So here is a short video from Kobe's.

House Pictures

My beautiful Christmas Tree! I think this might be the last year for the funky tree, doesn't go too well with the rest of the house.
The upstairs livingroom. Last week it got new carpet and paint. Thanks Mom and Dad for the hand-me-down furniture!
From the dining room. Note the discoloration on the table. Never leave one of those scented oil things out where it could get spilled...
Dinging room. I LOVE my hutch! It was Grandma Glo's and Grandma Jane refinished it to match my table.

New Kitchen! Bob came last week and painted in here too. Then he did the glass tile backsplash.

Why does everything they make for kids have to be plastic and ugly?
Tile on the backsplash
Overall I think we've pretty much adjusted to the new house. There is still a room full of boxes downstairs that I need to go through. There is nothing up on the walls yet either. I order some stuff from Uppercase Living yesterday to put up. Dustin doesn't like having a master bath because I wake him up when I take a shower in the morning. BooHoo. I love living in Fairbury because they deliver your mail right to your front door. Until you've lived somewhere that you have to phyically get out of the car in the rain/now to get it you can't appreciate this. I will post pictures of Asher's room soon. He was still sleeping when I took these this morning.
