Now all we need is a baby!

Last night Taylor came over because Dustin and Josh went to Lodge with Dad. Taylor got everything on "Dustin's List" accomplished except getting the video camera ready. Thank God she came over to help. We got the car seat base and mirror put in the truck, batteries in the bouncy seat, mounted the camera above the crib, mounted the monitor on the wall, organized the closet and finished unpacking everything that was still in boxes. I think everything is pretty much ready now - even my bag is packed! I guess now we'll really start waiting!

Charlee

I stopped in to see Charlee tonight and she's getting big! At 4 weeks she weighed 8 1/2 pounds. She is 5 weeks now.

Jodi pulled her out of her sleeper to show me her chunky legs!

I'm thinking the belly comes in handy, she could just snuggle up and rest on Baby Bill.

Nursery Update

Its been a while since I've posted pictures of Bill's room. 2 awesome showers later it is filled to capacity.

I found upper case living circles that matched his bedding perfectly! And the empty space above his bed will eventually have his name... but for now its hidden :)

I found this lamp at Target that matched all the colors perfectly, but you can't really tell when its on.

His closet is full too, Dustin said the other night that the baby had more clothes than him... I didn't tell him that those are only newborn and 0-3 months. The rest are in the other side of the closet and he didn't even look over there.

Over the weekend I was having some braxton hicks and lost my mucus plug (I think) so Dr Austman decided to check me today. I was 1 cm dilated and my cervix is softening. She starting laughing and told me she was tickling his head! So weird! So Dustin will be able to leave on Thursday to go work in Monmouth for a couple of days overnight.... as long as he's no more than a phone call away Dr Austman said I still have time.

She also said that we are "not dealing with a small baby" so she thought my chances of going a little earlier were a little greater. She said he isn't going to be a 10 pounder but he's on the bigger side. That made me feel a little better that she doesn't want him to get too big. I go back again next Tuesday so we'll see what happens between now and then.

Congrats Mike & Jenna!

On Saturday Mike Winegar and Jenna McKeon got married. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a lot of fun! Well, it would have been more fun if I could have had a cocktail, but just watching everyone was fun too.

Belly Pictures

Taylor came over last night to take some belly pictures for me. Dustin didn't want to go and have them done so I thought we could give it a try. I found a photo editing website that I LOVE. I think we could have done better if we would have realized that the flash was off! Everything turned out kind of dark but I don't want to have to do it again.

The Good and The Bad

The Good: Dr Austman called me "thin" and complimented on the fact that I still have ankles!

The Bad: She checked me and I'm not doin a thing! She said we have a lot of work to do. Hmmm. I'm not dilated or effaced at all. She won't even check me next week at my appt unless I start having contractions. She told me I can still go boating this weekend as long as we go slow and I'm not having a lot of contractions. She said she really doesn't want me giving birth on the boat.

She also said that because I am "thin" she thought that the weight measurement that they gave me a couple of weeks ago should be pretty close, but could always be off as much as a pound either way. She said right now he's pry close to 6 1/2 lbs and if I go full term around 8 lbs.

Weber/Righter Baby Shower

Wow what a shower I had on Saturday. I was totally bummed Friday night that we had to move it out to Lodge after all that hard work everyone did at the farm over the last month or so. But everything turned out awesome, except for a small parking situation. I got tons of great gifts and now we are all set to go. I was going to go through everything on Sunday but I was too excited when I got home Saturday night and did it all then. I got done about 12:30 A.M. But everything was put away and most of the laundry done.

Countdown

Well the countdown is underway: 30 Days to go! Things are coming together and after my shower this weekend we should have everything in place. Then the waiting game starts. I have yet to pack a bag so that will be something I hope to tackle this weekend. Other than that just feeling really tired and can't get around as well as I used to. Looking forward to my massage tonight so I can relax and lay on my belly!

Little man LOVES to have his neck scratched! Last night RJ took off his collar to give him a good rub-down and Boo gets so into it that he can barely hold his head up and eventually falls over. Had to post a video.

35 Week Ultrasound

I went for an ultrasound today to see how big Baby Bill is and to check his positioning. With 5 weeks left to go he weighs approximatley 5 lbs 9 oz. And he is supposed to be gaining about 1/2 lb a week from here on out. The tech said she really couldn't tell me that much because it had to come from a dr... but I asked her if that was big at this point and she just smiled. Hmmmm. Weird to think that he's just 1 lb shy of his cousin Charlee and he still has 5 weeks to go! I asked her what body part was sticking out at the time and she said it was his foot, and when she went to look at it she said his foot was huge.

No good pictures to share, she said he's too big now to get a good one. The Gibson Hospital did get a 4D ultrasound machine a couple of weeks ago so we were able to have another one. The video above is of his hand and the one below is of his face: thats his arm that is right next to it with his hand cut off.

Pontoon's Maiden Voyage!

Dustin was so excited to get the "mini" pontoon on the water this weekend. The weather was perfect! I even took about an hour and a half ride:) It will only hold about 4 people but we had a lot of fun on it this weekend. Dustin and RJ got quite the sunburn on Saturday.

Another appt! My belly is still measuring right on and heart beat sounds good. I did have some blood in my urine this time and she said it could be a couple of things. They were going to test for infection and let me know. She said if I wasn't pregnant she would be more concerned, but it could be an inflamed blood vessel in my bladder.

We made an appointment for an Ultrasound this Thursday to check his weight and position. My next appointment is May 19th... then every week. It hit me that this means we're getting close!!!
