I love this site - I can't even remember how I found it.  This is the site I use to do our budget and I love (and hate) seeing where all our money goes each month. 

My new diaper bag

I got a new diaper bag because I used Asher's as a camera bag for a while.  I love the one I got and it came with lots of smaller bags too (like for pacifier, diapers and wipes) and with special straps to hook it to the stroller.

My New Maxi Dress

After a minor fail at making myself a dress for pictures the end of April I knew I wanted a maxi dress but didn't want to spend hardly anything on it.  I looked EVERYWHERE for something and finally came across this dress on Walmart.  I love the colors and that it has thick straps cuz my arms are lookin a little large.  It came in on Wednesday and I love it - super comfy!

Tid Bits

•  I have always felt good about the fact that I give Boo dehydrated chicken jerky as a treat.  To be honest he basically lives off of the things and LOVES them!  Last week we heard about a recall of the Waggin Train treats that Boo eats.  I was ticked.  So Boo has an appointment in a couple of weeks to have his teeth cleaned and the vet is going to do a blood test to check his kidneys and make sure he doesn't have anything going on.  In the mean time I have a very pissed Chihuahua who doesn't understand why he isn't getting any treats.  I've been feeding him deli meat because I'm not sure what else to give him!
• Last Sunday Dad and Dustin got the little hot tub up and running.  Asher is so "cited!"  Tuesday night after dinner I wanted to get in with him (don't worry, it wasn't too hot).  I borrowed one of The Sister's old bikini's.  When I went out and took my towel off Josh's eyes got real big and he told my sister they were going to adopt.  THANKS JOSH.  Make me feel real good about myself.
• I'm hoping this weekend to have a little "work day" at our house!  Its supposed to be nice out and I want to rip out a flower bed in the backyard to have a small garden.  Mom makes really good pasta sauce and things so I would love to have some tomatoes, green peppers and jalapenos!  Dustin isn't real happy about doing the work but since I'll be home this summer I should be able to take care of it.  (See you Sunday Mom & Dad :)
•  The Sister found out that she will be student teaching in Pekin this fall.  That means she'll be living with Ryan, Milissa and the kiddos for 6 weeks!  I'm jealous that Mili gets all that help for a while but what is the school thinking placing a girl almost an hour and a half away from home to student teach?  Good thing she has family to stay with!
• Yesterday I opened up a new tube of toothpaste.  As Asher and I were brushing our teeth he wrinkled up his nose, shook his head and said "Dis toothpaste isn't berry tasty."  I love him.
• Yesterday I took off at noon and went with the rest of the "Righter Girls" to the boat.  Somehow it escaped our attention that we never took The Sister or Addie to the boat when they turned 21 - evidently we were too busy making plans for Vegas!  All of the girls went and we had a great time, although I think the only reason they took me was to have a DD on the way home :)  Made my day to see my friend Becky there too!

I have "boys."  When I walked into Mom & Dad's Wednesday morning their sunroom was covered in sleeping teenage boys.  Makes me wonder if this will be my life in about 14 or 15 years.

Not only is my wedding set not fitting anymore but it was time for it to be cleaned and checked out so I've been wearing Grandma Glo's set this week.

Last Saturday I worked alllllll day on Brudder's room.  I got a lot done.  I for sure don't need too much before this Lil Guy arrives.

People let Me Tell Ya Bout My Best Friend

RJ has been givin me crap lately because he's never on the blog.  If you ask Asher who is best friend is he says RJ every time.  He slept with me last week while Dustin was gone and he was mumbling RJ's name in his sleep.  And when I told him I loved him the other day he told me "I love RJ more." 

Lord Help Me.

My Brother is a pain in the butt but he sure does love my lil guy. 

And Asher wants to be just like him - flat billed hat and all. 

  I'm surprised Asher got back on his 4 wheeler after RJ had his wreck.  Asher was very concerned.

I'm glad I emailed Kaylie's Mom back after turning down doing her senior pictures.  Although by the end of the session I was out of breath and sweating to death I had a really good time!  Here is a little sneak peek of Kaylie's senior session from Sunday

32 Week Appointment

Weight Gain This Month: 5 lbs

Total so Far: 29 lbs

 

Belly Measurement:  We were too busy talking and she didn't say.

 

Brudder's Heart Rate:  120's - she said he must have been sleeping

What's Next:  I go back in another 2 weeks.  She gave me another prescription because I have my third UTI this pregnancy - FUN!  She said she is also pretty sure that he is sunny side up and gave me a couple of things to try and turn him around.  One of them is getting on my hands and knees for as long as I can stand it.  I guess I'll work on that the next couple of weeks and see if we can't get him to turn around.  We also talked birth control!  I asked her about Implanon (the one that goes in your arm) and she told me that she thought it would be a great option for me.  Dustin is ready to do something "permanent" but I'm just not ready yet.  I was actually surprised to hear that the Implanon is more effective than both a vasectomy and tubal ligation.  She said that the hormones may also be better for my headaches - that had me sold right there.  I'm starting to get excited and look forward to each appointment.  We're getting closer!

32 Weeks

32 Weeks with Asher



How far along?: 32 Weeks

How big is baby?: 3.75 lbs and 16.7 inches

Weight gain/loss?: 24 pounds at my last appointment - however, I go back to the Dr today and I'm thinkin we're sitting right around 30 pounds.

Stretch marks?: Not that I can see but with the way my belly is growing it wouldn't surprise me!

Maternity clothes?: Don't even talk to me about clothes.  I wish I could just buy a couple of mumu's and wear those to work everyday...

Sleep?: Not too bad.  I think I sleep better with the windows open this time of year.  Of course I still get up 3-4 times to go to the bathroom.

Food cravings?: Nothing that sticks out.  Obviously I'm eating enough to gain the weight!  I basically live to go to Mom and Dad's on Tuesday night and eat whatever Mom and Grandma Jane are cookin up.  Its a very good thing that I'll never have a weigh in appointment on a Wednesday :)

Gender?: Another Brudder!

Movement?: BIG Streeeeeeeeeetching movements.  And he finally had the hiccups for the first time last week.  Asher had the hiccups all.the.time.

Belly button?: Out. - and its looking a little indecent.

Tid Bits

• Dustin's cousin Jaime and her husband Craig had their lil girl on Tuesday - Londyn Marie Cook weighed in at 6 lbs 7 oz and 19 inches long.  Can't wait to meet this lil lady.
•  My cousin Kristen called me on Tuesday night and said that a friend of theirs had recently found out they were very sick and couldn't go to the Brantley/Eric Church concert in April that I missed buying tickets to.  Although I feel so bad about why they couldn't go I was SUPER EXCITED to have tickets!  The Sister and I are planning on going unless for some reason I'm just not feelin it at 37 weeks.  If I can't go Josh can always have my ticket.  That totally made my day - I can't let Brantley come that close without seeing him!
• I think I may have finally settled on a C-Section date for Brudder.  Don't get me wrong - I'm still hoping for a very successful VBAC :)  But Dr Austman said we need to set a date for a c-section just in case he decides he doesn't want to come out since I won't be induced.  Picking a date was hard - it just doesn't seem right?!?!  So I knew I wanted to wait until after his due date (but not too long) so as of right now I'm thinking May 22nd.  No one in my family has a birthday that day and that would make Brudder's birthday May 22, Asher - June 2 and Dustin June 12.  Is that stupid?  I also got on Wikipedia and checked other people with the birthdays of May 22 or 23 to see if there was someone that I wanted to hit or avoid.  I told you I've thought a lot about this.  So for now I think that may be it.  I'm still hoping he decides to come on his own!
• I have a senior session this weekend and I'm so excited!  Lets hope the weather holds out!

Baby Londyn! 

I voted on Tuesday!  I made sure I took a picture and sent it to my boss so she knew I got it done :) 

I made myself an Easter/Maternity pic dress and its really cute -> on the hanger.  I somehow forgot to allow for my belly so when I put it on its about 8 inches shorter in the front than the back.  Maybe I can wear it this summer?!?! 

Dustin had a class in St Louis both yesterday and today so he wasn't home last night.  This is what Asher and I did at bedtime :) 

Best BLT Ever!

Seriously, I don't know why I didn't think of this!

I got this idea from Pinterest.

DUH!  Cut bacon slices in half and weave together.  Bake at 350 for about 25-28 minutes.  I didn't think they were crispy enough for us so I popped them in the microwave for about 45 more seconds.  Yum!

Dustin thought I was sooooo smart.  Guess I didn't have to admit it was Pinterest :)



Is it really March?

Not that I'm complaining about the 80+ days we've been having the last couple of weeks but its just crazy!  This weekend we spent all of our time outside.  We went for golf cart rides and Asher rode his 4-wheeler.  On Sunday we were at Mom and Dad's and they pulled the cover back off of the pool to see what the water looked like - they were a little worried.  To our surprise the water looked great!

 March 18th - The last time we were in the pool it was October 8th.  The weather has been crazy this year!

 Asher was all about sticking his feet in the pool.

 He finally got to go on a ride on Papa's "new" golf cart.



I don't know if the golf cart really is smaller or if Dad is just a big guy.  When they were coming at you Dad's knees stuck out the side of the cart :)

Workin With Papa

Last Tuesday night when Dad came home from work Asher saw him pull the mower out of the garage.  He immediately put his boots on and headed outside to help.  After he kept yelling at me to not take pictures and go inside he finally gave up.  I love this set - if you watch them Asher is always looking the same place as Dad.  Too Cute.
