Baby on the Way!

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Matt & Rachel. The past few days everyone has been asking about them - well Mom & Taylor called about an hour ago to say that they were at the hospital. She had been having contractions since this morning. They spent the day in Towanda at Bob & Kristi's so they would be closer to the hospital. And it sounds like they went back to the hospital this afternoon. I'll be sure to update when I know something more!

Charlie Horse!

Yesterday at work our sewer backed up so we had to either walk to the courthouse or the coroners office to use the bathroom (good thing it was nice out!) So I didn't really drink anything all day.

Then I went to Josh's afterwork and couldn't use the bathroom there because they were replacing the sewer. So I didn't drink anything all night.

About 4:00 this morning I woke up screaming from a charlie horse and scared the crap outta Dustin. He said it was because I was dehydrated-- I won't make that mistake again!

He's Such A Good Boy!

Last night we went over to Josh's so Dustin could help him run a new sewer. While we were waiting for the boys Taylor & I took Boo for a walk and watched American Idol. It was 9:30 before the boys were done and we could eat.

He always likes to poke his nose out and see whats going on.
After dinner I went in the living room to get Boo and couldn't find him. Then he started movin around and stuck his nose out from under this blanket. He had been sleeping on top of it all night, but it was past his bedtime so he snuggled underneath until it was time to go.

The sling I ordered came in today. It took us a minute to figure it out, but we got Boo in it. Too bad he wouldn't sit down so I could actually see how it would work.

Titties & Beer

Last night Me & Dustin, Taylor & Josh and Addie & Wes went to Peoria to see Rodney Carrington. Dustin & I saw him 2 years ago and couldn't wait to see him again! I think that Baby Bill enjoyed the show more than anyone though, I've never felt him move so much in such a short amount of time. He put on quite a show for Addie during Titties & Beer, he must like that song too! It was a pretty low key night, we must be getting old. It was pretty quiet in the back on the way home - I wish I would have gotten a picture when all 4 of them were sleeping in the back, but I caught Taylor and Josh snoozin last night.

27 Weeks

Baby boy is now 14.5 inches long and weighs 2 pounds! Although most days I'm wondering if he's any bigger than that... or if I'm just huge. When strangers ask me how far along I am they always seem surprised that I have 3 months left. He's back to moving around all the time, and I'm having a really hard time sleeping and just getting comfortable period. One week left until the 3rd trimester!

Busy Weekend

I think Friday everyone had a touch of spring fever! Dustin called me at work and told me he wanted to cook out, so we had Mom & Dad and Taylor & Josh over for supper. Kerry Tredennick was a bachelor this weekend so he came over too.

Saturday I somehow convinced Dustin to go up to Shorewood to Babies R Us. So that night me & Dustin and Taylor & Josh went up. I really wish I could have registered there, they have such a selection. But I can't expect people to drive up there for gifts or pay the shipping to order things. Still, it was fun just to look around. Friday the Utopia travel system came in and I loved it! Well what I could see of it in the box, so it was nice to see it on display at Babies R Us. Then I picked up the matching pack n play for mom. Taylor & I got some shopping done while Dustin & Josh were still back in the stroller section discussing whether or not the tires on a certain stroller looked "off road" enough.

Then we went to Target to register for a few items that I had missed earlier in the week. Once again Taylor got to run the gun. Then we let the boys pick where we ate dinner, so of course we ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings. Sunday morning we had breakfast at Mom & Dads then went home and cleaned up the inside of the vehicles. Oh, sorry -- I cleaned up the vehicles, Dustin sat in the garage on the computer buying parts for his dirt bike. Then we went to Ray and Sue's for dinner. By the time we got home at 7:30 I was ready for bed. I guess the time change was throwing me off.

Jodi and I haven't had our picture taken since Christmas, and wow, what a difference. I'm hoping that my face can't possibly get any fatter.

Getting big! Taylor & Josh were here when I took these and I pulled up my shirt and Josh said "oh man, thats a totally different picture." He's right. I still cant believe it when I see it in a picture like this.

Utopia TownsendLast week Grandma Jane ordered my travel system in the Townsend print. Then this morning Milissa emailed me with a print that she found that I might like called Utopia. Vote to the right and let me know which one you like better.

Busy Weekend

This weekend the boys: Dustin, Dad, RJ, Josh, Chad, Ethan, Kolby and Kevin Brucker all went to Indianapolis to watch a Supercross Race. The little boys really enjoyed it and Dustin said they had great seats. I made sure Dustin took his camera to get some pictures.... but of course he forgot to use it.

On Saturday me, Mom, Taylor and Grandma Jane all went shopping at IKEA then hit some other stores around the Bolingbrook area. After the first store the trunk of the Caddy was completely full, but we piled the rest on top of Taylor and Grandma. I got a closet organizer for Baby Boy's closet, and of course a few more clothes. Then we went back to Dwight and met Heidi and Katelynn for dinner.
